This is a quick pic I happened to have of the table on my verandah under the thatch eaves. The scene of many a festive meal, solitary dinner or early morning cuppa. And it is a quick post so that I can join the jolly porch party as hosted by Rose Coloured Glasses. Thank you, Rhondi! Other words for porches? We also call them stoeps.
South Africa! This porch party is so much fun. I love traveling all over the world in my chair. Your porch is wonderful and I love the color walls.

Eleanor I so long to visit in person as although these 'virtual visits' are such fun, I can imagine sitting there on the veranda with you, sipping a drink and listening to some classical music in the cool of the evening. It truly is a beautiful cottage and I'm grateful you are sharing it with many today at this fun 'porch party'.
ReplyDeleteFondly - Mary.

ReplyDeleteAll dear blog friends! Thank you for your kind compliments on a very hasty and informal pic of the verandah without even tidying it up. You are welcome to tea, Willow and everyone else too. Four will be fine - English scones and jam, banana bread and melktert (Dutch milk tart). Let me find some more chairs! Do you take milk?
