Thursday, 19 March '09: Full moon

The moon is a white button
Mottled, marbled
Sewn onto the dark fabric
Of early morning.

(From my book of ancient scribblings)

It's amazing that we all see the same moon no matter where we are.A button eh? Still thinking about that common meeting ground, Ha!

Love your book of ancient scribblings. Taking a little break in the mid day madness and wanted to see what is going on in South Africa today. You never disappoint, Eleanor...

I'm going to print out your wonderful ancient scribbling and display it somewhere. That's just beautiful and appeals to my textile sensibilities. If only I had a sewing room to put it in...

This post reminded me of the moonlit walks I used to take as a teenager and the horseback rides with friends.
