I am so envious! Wonderful posies. We live in the Texas hill country and right now we are in such a severe drought the deer eat everything. I have a small garden with high fencing and have put in onions so far, hyacinths came and went already. Love to see garden stuff. Thanks. Peggy Duvall, just a lurker, no time to blog.

Wow - those are from your garden?! Beautiful! Thanks for your comment - hubby is in the gold industry hence the visits far and wide!! But they are coming to an end as he retires mid next year.

Eleanor, that posie is loveliness personified. What a green thumb you have! I adore fresh flowers, and these are magnificent.

I always love roses best when they are just past the peak of perfection and are fully open and look so soft, right as they are getting ready to drop their petals. Like the ones in the Dutch still lives.

I wish I could grow flowers that lovely. And I appreciate those who can.

Wishing you and the boys all the love your hearts can hold and all the blessings from above on Valentine's Day and every day.

Love to you, Eleanor, and Happy Valentine's Day!

XO,

Sheila :-)

THIS IS MY FIRST TIME VISITING YOUR BLOG. I JUST STARTED BLOGGING IN JAN 2009 AND HAVE MET SOME AWESOME WOMEN.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES AND NOT TO FAR THROUGH THE UNITED STATES.

Oh my did you truly grow those spectacular blooms? I can't do that well in the middle of summer! (Well I guess it IS the middle of summer in s. Africa, isn't it?)

Glorious blooms. I am envious; we still have patches of snow here and there, and lots of MUD.

Such beautiful flowers from your garden. Just what I needed on this almost perfect Valentine's Day.

For the Woodland Caribou numbers: they are for Jasper National Park only. I have amended my post.

I wish I could have been at your French Valentine's party - it sounded so lovely - know everyone had a ball! These flowers are just gorgeous.

We had a light supper out and then attended a theatre production of 'The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie'. Tonight I'm back to painting in the dining room - hard work but I'm pleased with the way it's all turning out!

Hugs - Mary.
